The wine: The grapes come from an especially chosen parcel where the vines are pruned back hard and picking is severely restricted (6.5 dl/m2). Depending on the year, this full bodied and complex wine can acquire a lightly honeyed quality. Ready to be appreciated when young, it’s a wine that comes fully into its own 18 months after bottling and holds its head high for several years after that.
