The wine: Dumas’s musketeers weren’t necessarily three and neither is the number of grape varieties comprising this blending! The gamaret imparts colour and structure, the garanoir fruitiness, the galotta smoothness – and, in unfailing support of these vines, pinot noir and gamay add their delightful personalities. Matured for 10 months in the cask, Trois Cépages stands out by virtue of the richness of its aromas, spices and fruits, the whole underpinned by refined tannins.
